In honor of National Single Parents' Day, PurposeBound Parents is hosting a Jazz Brunch Fundraiser to help single parents wanting to change the destiny of their families by enrolling in college.
The event will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Speakeasy classic, atmospheric lounge (next to the Hippodrome) located at 528 N. 2nd Street in downtown Richmond. Students from Banner Christian School will minister is song, Tribute Gospel Singers of First African Baptist Church will also be in the house along with the Larri Branch Trio. Also, the first appearance of the new Face of PurposeBound Parents will speak! It's going to be a great fundraiser!
LaWanda Woods, Chief Possibility Officer of PurposeBound will share the exciting news and progress about PurposeBound's vision and how you can help to end the cycle of poverty and transform our community by empowering families and youth to succeed in education and achieve life-long self-sufficiency.
